8 score (EIGHT SCORE) is a female composers collective founded in 2021. We are the alumni of The Female Film Composer Class at the SoundTrack_Cologne 18.
Female composers, songwriters, producers and directors are still massively underrepresented today. Our aim is to empower women in music, creating a safe and supportive space to facilitate connections, share resources and experiences, amplify our voices, and work together to increase our visibility and create new opportunities.
We all come from very diverse walks of life and different spaces in media & music, and we are very excited to honor our diversity through our upcoming projects.
We hope to strengthen gender equality through our collective work and create a more inclusive and diverse world for everybody.
