The 8 score collective is currently developing
TOOT SUITE: FEMMES FORTES
honoring five important women today and in history.
The concert is scheduled to take place on November 25th, 2025, the International Day for the Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women in Berlin.
TOOT SUITE: FEMMES FORTES is an innovative musical and multimedia joint project by the female composers' collective 8-Score.
The aim is to create and perform a coherent work consisting of
10 minute movements by five female composers from the collective, with each movement tracing the portrait of a contemporary famous woman. It will be presented in a multimedia scenic format. The stylistically diverse (film) composers and the librettist/author/filmmaker of
filmmaker of 8 Score are committed to the growth and visibility of female composers, songwriters and producers in the media landscape.
The world has long been dominated by male narratives. Our aim is to make visible the diverse and historically relevant contributions of five very different women and to bring them closer to a broad, culturally curious audience in a sensual and multimedia way.
